Like many Belgian Shepherd owners, I have my favourite variety, namely Tervuerens. I used to joke that it would take a very special Groenendael for me to want one and boy is Marlowe exactly that and more! I was only supposed to visit the puppies as part of their socialisation but Marlowe connected with me right away and he joined our family as soon as he was old enough. He is a sweet, confident lad and is showing good potential for various disciplines.

Like many of my other Belgians, I chose with my heart and was thrilled to have this pup join our family. Iggy is a wonderful boy, both inside and out - a super ambassador for his breeders in France, "du Pré de la Sommerau".

Argent joined our family at 10 months after being asked to offer him a home. Argent is co-owned with Helen Grimes (Everquest). He has a fabulous temperament and is an affectionate lad, being very fond of giving you hugs! He doesn't realise quite how big he is and loves nothing more than squeezing onto your knee, even when sat at the desk!

Mojo was bred by Rita Berces (Italy), I fell in love with Mojo when he was only a couple of days old!
Mojo is a very sweet dog, having developed a strong bond with me, very quickly. Whilst all my Belgians love their cuddle time, non more so than this beautiful boy.

Macleod is my very special boy, who simply loves the world and everything in it (except for fireworks!). Mac was a singleton pup, out of Ziggy.
He is everything I could have wanted in a dog.
Mac is co-owned with Helen Grimes (Everquest).

Miss G joined the family at the age of 13 months. She is my daughter's companion and has a very loving heart. Miss G excelled in the agility ring but is now a retired lady of leisure - though she certainly has not slowed down in any way!
I joke that Miss G is solar powered as she is always fully-charged.

Ziggy was my 'princess' grey girl. I was invited, by her breeder, Mr RE Clark, to visit and play with the pups. Well Ziggy bounced into the lounge and that was that!. Next day she came home and I can't thank Roy enough for this special lady and all she brought to my life. Words can not describe the void her passing has left.

I was asked if I would consider giving Gabi a home, just before she turned 3. On meeting Gabi, there was no doubt at all, and she came home that same day.
Gabi was a very relaxed girl, always a 'lady', who was convinced that all small dogs were puppies and so needing mothering. Her passing has left a huge hole in my heart.

Having always had bitches previously, Baron was my first Belgian boy. Unfortunately due to a couple of events, he was extremely fearful of unknown dogs outside of his home but was content to be a 'home-body' lad.
As a pensioner, he was very happy to laze around, going out for rides in the car, and visiting places that guaranteed no interaction with unknown dogs. He loved to train, and practising obedience made him a very happy dog.
I will sorely miss the way he always gently kissed the back of my hand when it was his dinner time.
